TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — With the prices of groceries skyrocketing, it will likely cost you more money to throw a Fourth of July party.

The crew of WTWO Today went into the kitchen Friday morning to share some of their favorite tasty side dishes to brighten up your holiday party, without breaking the bank.

Jaime’s Oreo Fluff – Costs around $13.00 to make

1.Make the vanilla pudding according to box directions, then set aside.

2. Open 1 box Oreo’s and removed the cream. Once this is done you crush up the Oreo cookies. ( I don’t like to use the cream because it makes it to sweet and rich. If you like that then you can crush the Oreo’s up with the cream still in them.).  Add the crushed Oreo’s to your pudding.

3. Open the marshmallow fluff and microwave it for 30 seconds, then add to your pudding and Oreos.  Mix it all together well.

4. Take your Cool Whip and fold into mixture until smooth.

5. Use the other box of oreos and remove the cream and chop up in small pieces. Then sprinkle on the top of the mix.

6. Refrigerate for about an hour for it to set up and then serve. Refrigerate leftovers.

Amy’s Broccoli Casserole – Costs around $8.00 to make

David’s Ranch Pasta Salad – Costs around $10.00 to make

1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese

Lisa’s Cheesecake Filled Strawberries – Costs around $5.00 to make

1 box of No Bake Cheesecake Mix

1 ½ cups of milk (for the mix)
